About Grace
Daughter | Sister | Child of God
Being a small(ish) town girl has not stopped me from my big world dreams. I'm from Fargo, ND and will claim that with pride until the day I die. Growing up in North Dakota has had a heavy influence on who I've become. It has taught me the beauty of a sunset doesn't need a grand landscape to be breathtaking. It has taught me what a loving community looks and acts like. It has taught me how to be still and embrace what God has promised. Although I love and will always love Fargo. . . I was born for adventure and service. I served within bounds while I grew up going on missions with my church and service adventures within the states through STLF. God has now called me to surrender to His call in a light that is much more difficult for my earthly plans. Taking off for a week in the summer or during fall break was doable. Heading to South Africa for 3 months during first semester of my college years is a different story. Giving your life to Christ doesn't mean live how you please and claim His name while doing it. Giving your life to Christ is full surrender, true commitment and filled with sacrifices. I will trust His guidance and call. This blog will be a documentation of my journey in South Africa and my experience coming home. Posts will likely be weekly while in Africa.
